I’ve always personally been put off doing a safari as the idea of sleeping amongst all the creepy crawlies in hammocks or quickly put together tents really is not my sort of thing. Even a luxury tent or yurt is still going to be filled with the mini beasts of the safari world and is not how I’d wish to spend a holiday. However it would seem that I am not the only one who feels this way as a new trend within safari groups is to book a luxury cabin to stay in complete with hot tub, sauna and four poster beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Now this is more my sort of thing and would be perfect for a big family trip where you could arrange to hire a chef with the cabin to cater for everyone during your stay and cook fabulous meals to come back to after a long days safari.
You can hire transport to take you to and from the cabin so you really would have nothing to stress about and really could make the most of this once in a lifetime experience.
