Gorilla Tracking Uganda in association with Mahlatini (African travel specialists) offers many locations for the traveller to stay whilst exploring the wilderness. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is home to almost half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas.
The only luxury accommodation inside the National Park the Mantana Camp offers a commanding hilltop position overlooking Lake Mburo and the surround eco-systems. There are nine guest tents set ontop of wooden platforms, which comprise of a verandah, twin bedroom, dressing room and ensuite bush shower and toilet. The restaurant and bar areas are also set on raised wooden platforms and have superb views of Lake Mburo.
