If you’re looking for a safari holiday with a difference why not consider visiting the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda. This is the home to almost half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. The luxury camp called Lake Kitandara is a tented camp situated on the border of Bwindi National Park. It is an ideal base for your gorilla tracking experience. You’ll find that the accommodation has either double or twin beds with a shower / bath and running toilet. A verandah in front of each tent provides a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views of the forest.
Your meals are all included and are served at the main mess tent and picnic lunches are provided for the gorilla tracking day.
Besides offering a wonderful backdrop to Gorilla tracking, you’ll also likely get the chance to see chimpanzees, and many other mammals. Bwindi has been designated a World Heritage Site.
