Over the last two years many holidays have had to be cancelled or put on hold due to Covid restrictions or illnesses, but it finally is starting to feel like we may be able to get back to some sort of normality over the coming months. Not all countries are quite ready to lift restrictions and some people are still very worried about going away. You may think that a safari holiday is not one of the sorts of adventure you should be booking at the moment, but it actually may be one of the most Covid friendly types of holidays you can go on. Often when on safari you stay in your own private lodge. There are not many shared facilities so you will be able to stay in your group without mixing with others if you wish. You can also choose to go on a self-drive safari where you will be in your own vehicle or if you do go in a group, you will usually be in an open top vehicle which allows for great ventilation. Social distancing is quite easy when on safari and for this reason you may that feel a lot safer than if you were in a packed hotel bar or restaurant in Spain.
