If you have a special occasion coming up such as an anniversary or a birthday you may decide you want to book an extra special holiday. Luxury holidays are available in locations all over the world and often people think these come with a huge cost, but this is not always the case.
If you are able to wait to book a last minute deal you can shave hundreds off the cost of the holiday. You can find some great breaks away at a fraction of the cost they would be full price.
Looking in travel agents windows or online is the best way to grab yourself a bargain. If you are going to book a last minute deal you will almost certainly have to pay the full cost upfront and will need to have your travel documents such as a passport in place. Booking a last minute holiday without having a passport is very risky and may lead to you having to cancel it. This often means you will lose all of your money and not be able to go on the trip.
Be sure to take out insurance even when booking last minute as this does not only offer protection when cancelling a holiday but also whilst you are away.
