Travel advice for South Africa

If you are due to travel to South Africa, whether it be for business or pleasure you should ensure you know everything you need to and have all the relevant paperwork. Every member of your family will need a valid passport to travel, this even includes new born babies that are now required by law to have a passport. You do not need a visa to travel to South Africa unless you are staying there for more than 90 days.

From the 1st June 2015 new laws have been put in to place. If you’re travelling to South Africa or passing through a South African airport with a child you must be able to produce the child’s full unabridged birth certificate.

You make require vaccinations to enter South Africa, therefore you will need to contact your doctor at least eight weeks prior to your travel to check what you need and to allow time to book in and have the relevant ones.
