Gibraltar – European but Extremely Close To Africa

When you look at Gibraltar on a map you’ll notice that it is very close to connecting with Africa and Morocco in particular, and that has made it one of the most popular destinations for Europeans. It basically has the feel of a European holiday yet you get the beaches, weather and culture that are reminiscent of Africa.

The benefit for British people is the fact that English is the official language, but Gibraltar’s proximity to Spain means Spanish is spoken often too. The Rock of Gibraltar is pretty much viewable from all areas of Gibraltar and it is 426metres high.

There’s a great deal to see and do in Gibraltar such as snorkelling, boat rides, hiking, swimming with dolphins and shopping. There are endless restaurants out there too as well as pubs and clubs, this province benefits from glorious wildlife, including migrating birds and monkeys.
