If you are planning a safari holiday, then you need to know what to take with you. By forgetting anything, you risk damaging your whole experience.
Some of this equipment will likely escape your preparations, because it isn’t what you would expect. Bringing warm clothing which can easily be removed is a must when visiting Africa, as the temperature can vary wildly from day to night. Also, Malaria is a real danger in Africa, and as it spreads via mosquitos and other bugs, you can avoid the risk, or at least reduce it, by bringing bug spray along with you. Another problem is the water supply, which will likely not be very clean, so having bottled water is also advised.
Lastly, in order to improve your experience, and help you to remember it, you need to bring along a camera, preferrably with a long lense so that you can view animals from a distance. If you don’t care about pictures, then you should still bring a set of binoculars so that you can see animals from a distance.
